Summer activites and Summer Reading Suggestions..

Well folks it's summer and I've been home for a month already...I can't believe it's already JUNE! WOW!! It's just incredible to think about...still searching for a job this summer and hopefully I'll be able to get one soon before the summer is over! I haven't really been up to much recently except a little over a week ago I went to the zoo..and I also went to Abi's dance recital which both of these were alot of fun! I have pictures posted on my facebook of both and if you haven't yet you should go check them out!:) I've been reading alot which I have really enjoyed since I haven't been able to read much of what I want to at school..Hannah just let me borrow a book called Before you Meet Prince Charming and it is really encouraging for all you ladies out there if you want a summer read. Also another Summer reading that I HIGHLY recommend is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It is absolutely by far one of the best books I have ever read. If you haven't read it yet go out right now and borrow it or something you can borrow it from me if you like. I promise you will not be able to put it down. It's basically a re telling of the book of Hosea. Francine Rivers really has a gift for writing and really driving home the message. I encourage everyone of you girls to read it this summer. Alright since I haven't posted in so long I'm gonna do two posts..as most of you all know I have a new niece!! Her name is Savannah Jean Friend:) She's a beautiful baby girl...Here's a few pics of her and the fam:) I love them all OHHHH soo much! Enjoy!<3
Well it's been a very long time since I posted on my xanga...since Christmas in fact. I'm almost done with another semester at LU and am home for Easter weekend:) I can't believe I only have like three weeks left of school and I'm out for the summer. It's gone so fast!!!:) I just can't believe I will be a Junior next year!!! AHHH!! Everything is going well. The worship department is great and I'm learning soo much. Right now I'm enjoying a little bit of relaxation at home before I go back and slave away on finals and the last few weeks of school. I think right now I'm gonna read a little bit of my book and then prepare for the coolest girl ever to appear.:)

On a more serious note...I've been reflecting over this Easter season how much Christ loved us to die for us and bleed on that cross so that we could be with Him forever. Then He rose again and is in Heaven preparing a place for us to come to Him. Oh how wonderful is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!!<3<3 I encourage you to really think on Him over this Easter season.

Well I can't believe it's already Christmas break...I haven't posted since right before Fall break so yeah I'm really behind..LOL! Anywayz I've been having a blast decorating the house for Christmas. Hannah came over this past weekend and helped me start by decorating my room together! It was a blast and I think my mom and I have pretty much finished all there is to do...it's taken forever but I think we are about done:) Tonight is the Christmas dinner and the children's program:) Hope to see alot of you there! I've really been enjoying the relaxation of this break. Especially being with family and friends.:) I hope to be a little more social after Christmas especially with the rockin New Years Party Rachel and I have planned:) Here's some pictures of Han and I decorating which you've prolly seen most of them on facebook..although there's prolly a few here you haven't seen yet since they were giving me a problem uploading on facebook...

ello friends! I miss you all so much but I'm so busy I hardly have time to think about it...here's a bit of an update...last weekend I went to Virginia Beach to campaign for McCain. I did over 200 phone banking calls and it was really cool..then I went on the beach with my friend Charity...no not you Charity;) and we rode the fairus wheel twice and did the fun slide. it was so relaxing and fun and we got to go shopping and see the best fireworks in the world oh and did I mention that I got to go for free..everything even meals were paid for...it was pretty sweet I'm going to Washington with them in two weeks and when I go I will be sure and post lots of pictures:) Oh and some of you know that I have had a bit of a problem with interval quizzes....I've failed the past four cause I hadn't developed my ear...well today Praise Jesus I finally passed but not only did I pass I got a 96 and it was the hardest one yet!!!!!!! It literally took my breath away the girl next to me and I were squealing for joy and hugging each other. My professor guessed what happened, and had been grading my quizzes so he knew that I did extremely well on the theory but wasn't really good by ear. When I said that I had got a hundred on that half of the quiz he smiled and was like way to go. It was a miracle is all I can say...hopefully I'm getting the hang of them after about five hours of practice. Anyway, fall break starts Wednesday so I'm coming home in like two days! Hope to see you all very very soon so I can tell you even more about what's been going on.

sorry I haven't updated in soooooo long...:( I just woke up at like 1:00...soooo exhausted..LOL! There's a football game tonight that I'm going too especially cause I have friends in the marching band...they played North Greenville last Saturday and beat them 49 to 10...pretty bad.. Anyway I have alot of pics that I could upload but most of them are on my facebook too...

I just got back from the Raleigh trip last night and it was an incredible experience!!!! I would highly recommend that everybody that can go, go next year or whenever there's another chance! It's something that I really can't describe you just have to go and experience it for yourself. Also I have some pics from the fireworks on the 4th in Roxboro that I wanted to post:) Also I have pictures of a BEAUTIFUL rainbow that I saw at my house on Wednesday. It was a whole lot brighter than when I finally got the pictures but you can get an idea of how beautiful it was.:)

Well I'm in Kentucky guys!!:) I'm sitting in a parking lot hooked up to a staples connection..LOL!!! Anyways it won't let me on facebook but I got to check my e-mail and such..I'm gonna be back on Saturday.:) I'm having a good time up here but I also really miss it there:( I can't wait to get back and see you guys! Whelp I'm back from Alice in Wonderland Rehearsal and cast party and I've got some pics...I uploaded them on facebook too The actual play is tomorrow at 7:00 pm at Westwood in the fellowship hall.:)
